Description
*Star Ring Express* takes place in an interstellar orbit circling a gas giant. Players pilot a small delivery craft, navigating through a hazardous ring composed of space debris and satellites. A signature mechanic is the Gravity Slingshot—utilizing the gravitational fields of planetary satellites to accelerate and change direction, which requires precise calculation of tangential angles.
Levels are organized into five tiers based on orbital radius (from inner to outer), with approximately 860 levels per tier. The inner tier features intense radiation that continuously depletes the ship’s shields; the middle tier is dense with space debris, requiring frequent evasive maneuvers; and the outer tier contains frozen comet fragments that slow the ship upon impact. Players must effectively utilize gravity points and plan optimal routes to minimize energy consumption.
Skill Packs: Reinforced Shield increases radiation resistance; Precision Navigation highlights the optimal gravity slingshot path; and Emergency Thrusters provide a sudden burst of speed to escape danger. Upgrades are purchased using Star Ring Coins earned as mission rewards.
