Description
Wings of Archaeopteryx is a parkour game that simulates the flight of an ancient pterosaur. Players control a pterosaur flying over dense Jurassic jungles, utilizing thermal updrafts to soar higher while dodging giant ferns and volcanic debris. Flight controls: dive to accelerate, pull up to decelerate and gain altitude.
The 8,800 levels span five geological periods: Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous, Paleogene, and Neogene (1,760 levels per zone). Vegetation grows increasingly tall, volcanic activity intensifies, and changes in air density affect lift.
Skill packs: Feather Adjustment (adapts to varying air density), Thermal Sensing (locates updrafts), and Sharp Vision (reveals obstacles through thick fog). Upgrades require Amber Fossils.
