Description
*Mag-Lev Shuttle* takes place on a massive superconducting mag-lev track. Players control a single-person shuttle that moves by utilizing magnetic repulsion and attraction. Controls involve tapping the left side of the screen to switch magnetic poles (N/S): like poles repel to accelerate, while opposite poles attract to decelerate. Players must precisely control polarity to pass through Magnetic Field Gates on the track, which only allow passage with specific polarities.
The game spans 3,200 levels, featuring track layouts that include spiral ascents, vertical dives, and 360-degree rolls. In the Stable Magnetic Zone (Levels 1–800), players need only master basic polarity switching; the Interference Zone (Levels 801–1600) features external magnetic forces that intermittently force polarity changes, disrupting the rhythm; the Pulse Magnetic Zone (Levels 1601–2400) includes track breaks that require using magnetic forces to catapult across gaps; and the Chaotic Magnetic Zone (Levels 2401–3200) upends all rules, with polarity and track direction shifting unpredictably at any moment. The skill set includes Hysteresis Loop, which buffers the impact of external interference; Superconducting Reserve, which stores extra launch energy for leaping across gaps; and Polarity Shield, which grants immunity to forced polarity-switching interference at critical moments. These skills are upgraded by collecting Magnetic Flux Capsules found along the track.
